Public Authority Services

Public Authority Services by Sourcewise supports Santa Clara County’s In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) program by administering several of the IHSS program’s necessary functions.

Public Authority Services facilitates independent living by administering a Registry database of pre-screened IHSS Independent Care Providers, enabling care providers to provide quality service without IHSS care recipients/consumers needing to expend their own resources to vet prospects, negotiate wages, and administer care provider health benefits.

Public Authority Services facilitates enrollment into the IHSS program for family and non-family care providers, allowing care recipients to hire whomever they choose to provide their IHSS authorized services.

Let’s Get Started

Access the Public Authority Services website for more information on how to enroll to become an IHSS Independent Care Provider, access to optional training classes and materials, joining or requesting assistance from the Registry, and provider benefits.
