Staff and Volunteer counselors of HICAP can help you understand your specific rights and health care insurance coverage options. HICAP also offers educational presentations to groups of Medicare beneficiaries, families, and providers on a variety of Medicare, Medi-Cal, and health insurance topics. We are available to assist with comparison charts, insurance plan benefits, claim or benefit denials, and other health insurance related billing questions.

The HICAP of Sourcewise designed a Medicare Consumer Guide, including plan comparisons. This tool is designed to be used in conjunction with one-on-one telephone or in-person counseling sessions with our health insurance counselors to assist you in making informed health care decisions. For more information on these tools, please call (408) 350-3200, option 2 or contact us via email.

The Health Insurance Counseling & Advocacy Program of Sourcewise is not affiliated with any insurance company and offers unbiased information through presentations and individual counseling to help you make informed decisions about Medicare and Medi-Cal coverage.
